Water seems to be a superabundant natural resource on the planet earth. However, only 0.3 percent of the world’s total amount of water can be used as clean drinking water. Man requires huge amounts of drinking water every day and extracts it from nature for innumerable purposes. Today a person whose annual water resources falls below 2,000 cubic meters runs the risk of joining the 700 million people in 43 countries living under the critical threshold of 1,700 cubic meters per person. At this level, water stressed countries have difficulty meeting water requirements for agriculture, industry, energy and the environment.

By 2025, 8 billion people could be living in water-stressed countries – and 14 countries will slip from Being Water-stressed to being Water-scarce (under 1000 cubic meters per person).

• There are several sub-states and pathways where pathogens can invade a host; soil contamination has the most persistent potential for harboring a pathogen. The longer a pathogen can survive outside the human body the more dangerous it becomes. Example; The smallpox virus (variola virus) can survive outside the human body for approximately 885 days. It kills 1 in 10 of the people. Ebola virus has devastating results; it kills 9 out of 10 people. ETM has developed the AquaMaster system the produces a “Ionically Active Solution” (IAS) that kills these types of pathogens with seconds. This product is being to disinfect water used in hospitals, black water sanitation, Produce Wash, Public restrooms, Animal Farms and many other applications.

As natural fresh water recourses are limited, sea water plays an important part as a source for drinking water as well.  In order to use this water, it has to be desalinated. So, consequently sea water desalination is a real challenge forwestern civilization:

Our technology, in conjunction with the European laboratory that has spent years of research and development, has successfully created a desalination system that is based on our recent innovations in EDR membrane and electro-cell design.  The technology consists of the use of proprietary aliphatic polyether membranes that are selectively permeable to ionic species.  The membranes are placed in a series. Cationic and Anionic membranes are sequentially alternated in the core of what is known as the Electro-channeling cell.  The processing of the water through a series of membranes consisting of proprietary electrode materials and controls, allows for the production of high quality drinking water at a desirable flow rate and with minimal energy consumption.
